2001–2006 Freelance
UX architect, webmaster...jewelry designer?
After the telecom bubble burst in 2001, I did a lot of freelance web work, copywriting, and even photography for a variety of customers: PLANT (Public Library Administrators of North Texas); Hill Country Animal Hospital; systems administrator, Episcopal mega-church Christ Church; copywriter, photographer, and graphic designer, Piller Industries; and more. (I also spent a little over a year trying to work as a jewelry designer, both as a designer for Barse, and on my own. I noticed I spent more time on the website than the jewelry and returned to UX.)
